What is Flexpoints Rewards?
Flexpoints Rewards is SDFCU's exclusive loyalty rewards program for our Platinum Rewards and Savings Secured Platinum Rewards credit cards. Cardholders are automatically enrolled in the program and can earn 1 Flexpoint per $1 dollar spent when using their card for everyday purchases.
Unlike other credit card loyalty programs which offer one type of reward, such as miles or cash back, Flexpoints Rewards offer cardholders many types of rewards to redeem for, not to mention unique program perks, special offers, and featured benefits.
What types of rewards can you get with Flexpoints?
- Travel - If you are thinking about your next vacation, redeem your points for a flight, cruise, or apply them toward your hotel stay.
- Cash Back - Cardholders can redeem for statement credit or boost their balance with a deposit to an SDFCU savings or checking account.
- Purchase Rebate - You can redeem for a purchase rebate meaning you can use your points to get money back on an individual purchase you made with your card.
- Merchandise - Shopping for a new appliance? You can use your points to get appliances, electronics, luggage, and more. You can use the wish list feature to browse and save items for easy reference or when you have accrued more points.
- And More - Redeem for gift cards for popular retailers, charity donations and more.
What else does the program offer?
Not only do you earn 1 point per $1 spent with your card, you can also earn additional Flexpoints and other special offers from select merchants. Offers last for a limited time and some require online activation. Be sure to review the terms and conditions of each offer and don't forget to shop with your Platinum Rewards card before the special offers end.
How to track and redeem Flexpoints
Savings Secured and Platinum Rewards cardholders can access their Flexpoint Rewards anytime by logging into Online Banking or in SDFCU mobile app.
There you can:
- track your Flexpoints balance
- browse hundreds of rewards
- make a wish list
- redeem rewards
- activate additional point offers.
Log into Online Banking and select "Card Services" in the menu.

Open the SDFCU Mobile App, select "More."
